I was so excited when Sara emailed me a few weeks ago asking to have pictures taken of her six month old daughter! I have taken photos of her sons a couple times last year and had no idea that they had added another to the family. It was a blast to see the brothers interact with their baby sister, and, my goodness, she is so pretty! Enjoy!

Remember my nice friends the Hovers? Well, the newlyweds also have a band called Candy Claws and I was lucky enough to have been asked to take some promotional pictures for them! I got to try new things and and climb on rocks and stuff. Thanks for asking me, guys.
This girl is amazing. What a summer it has been getting to work with such a thoughtful, passionate and eager artist. Megan asked me to do her senior portraits, and how could I not?! Not only do I love this girl, but on one of our first shoots together I glanced at her scoping out the landscape and thought, "good grief, i want to photograph that girl. What a photogenic face!" I was right. Megan's inner beauty shines through her striking exterior and reveals a light that attracts good things to her. What a bright future you have before you, my dear! Hugs! And maybe one more :)
I jumped at the chance to take a picture of Kevin and Shannon's sweet children, especially Madeline who just turned 1! We celebrated with family photos, balloons, and canoes. :) It was a joy to spend time with them and get to know my neighbors even more. Thanks, you guys!
It's been nearly ten years since high school, so it was quite the pleasant surprise when I saw Samantha and her family at my church. I was further excited when Sam emailed me about taking some family photos. Her and her husband's daughters are so loveable and cute, and I just adored working with them. Samantha is just radiant as a mother and Cliff knows just how to make his girls laugh. Enjoy!
My children (and sometimes, I) don't know how blessed they are to have two sets of doting grandparents who live minutes away. My mom recently asked to have some pictures taken of her and "her boys," and I happily obliged. What treasures, what keepsakes these photos will be as the years pass and the boys grow. They will grow up knowing they were, are, and will forever be held in loving arms.
Ryan and Karen were married on June 17th, and I could not have imagined a more fitting location and celebration for these friends of mine than up in Red Feather. The wedding clearly showed their values and unique interests as their love of the outdoors, mountains, and adventure was laced throughout their ceremony and reception. I'm moved by the way these two compliment each other, and I was honored to take pictures of their day. Cheers, you two!
I have the wonderful opportunity this summer to work with a lovely young woman, Megan, as she gains some experience and (hopefully) some guidance and knowledge about photography. Equipped with a natural eye and enthusiastic spirit, Megan is an invaluable resource for me this summer and I'm excited to see what we accomplish together!
Mainly just enjoying my baby, watching Daniel Tiger with my toddler, and enjoying life together with my husband. <please don't judge my pre-rain-dry-and-dirty backyard>
The silence is broken. I'm officially back, fresh off of my maternity leave and ready for an amazing summer season of work. In the months that have transpired since my last post, I have gained another wonderful son and have been enjoying him greatly. His name is Augustine. He smiles alot and sleeps good. But enough about me, or us, I am going to ease myself back into this blogging bit by posting some photos from a session two weeks before Gus was born. Gideon is one year old and is the sweetest little brother to Emerson. These boys are unstoppable and way too cute. Enjoy! and a couple with their beautiful mommy
