Oh. Em. Gee. This girl has a future...she was such a delight to photograph, and my job has never been easier than it was when I was taking photos of her. What a fun, effervescent personality. Beauty from the inside out, thanks Caroline!
This is the second year we have met together to take family photos. It's amazing to me that the kids have changed so much in a year's time. This family is so refreshing to be around and I love the respect and kindness they show to each other--it's clear they are raising wonderful future generations. Thanks, Schwinds!!
I have sooo much to update on here! What better way to start than to just jump in? Here is my wonderful sister in law and brother in law and their three boys. We met on the first very Fallish night of this year. I loved the deep, just changed colors. :)
I got the privilege to shoot headshots for this girl. We had a great time downtown and she certainly stuns with her pretty face and awesome hair. I have TOO MANY favorites. Here's to more photos for your portfolio and future successes! <3
One of the best parts of my job is getting to know new people and then getting to see them year after year for family photo sessions. It's amazing to me that I've been given the chance to see and watch and hopefully capture the love, life, and energy that comes from this very kind family. I'm blessed!
I recently took wedding candids for Mike and Alexandra for their stateside wedding reception. The couple was married in Cabo in May and celebrated with friends and family from all over the country at the beautiful Greenbriar Inn in Boulder. It was a lovely time with good food, people, and dancing. Cheers!
It can't be that I haven't updated the blog since January. That makes no sense. Clearly, I've fallen behind on blogging my work and it will take a while to get caught up! So how about a brief glimpse at some of the different events and sessions that I've had the privilege of photographing the first half of this year!! a beautiful anniversary party at the Tapestry House a chilly weddingsome product photography for an unbelievably chic bakery in Laramie one sweet one year old a wedding blessing an annual session :) and a whole 'lotta headshots for Americorps Phew! That brings me just about up to date. Thanks for following! Be on the lookout for more soon. :)
Well, my photographic year ended with a bang when I got to take pictures of the Novak family. Abby and Clint are my sister in law and brother in law and co-owners of the amazing Hilltop Farm in Loveland. Along with Clint's parents, they raise chickens, corn, and some of the greatest happy pigs and turkeys you'll have for Thanksgiving. Having my own affinity towards farms, I knew this shoot would be awesome (I mean how could it not, look at these people!) and we found so many fun spots to take pictures. It's hard not to post every single picture... Thanks a million, Novaks, I love you all! Somebody get this family an agent. These people were made to be in front of the camera and were up for any crazy idea I threw at them--nevermind the FREEZING temperatures. The Davisons are such a vivacious bunch--it's hard not to smile when you are with them--what a blast, what a gift!
