I recently took wedding candids for Mike and Alexandra for their stateside wedding reception. The couple was married in Cabo in May and celebrated with friends and family from all over the country at the beautiful Greenbriar Inn in Boulder. It was a lovely time with good food, people, and dancing. Cheers!

There are so many great things to say about these two people and it's only fitting that their wedding was thing of greatness, too. First of all, driving to the Vee Bar Ranch was like a hidden oasis on the desolate Wyoming landscape. It was just the most beautiful hideaway for a wedding. Kari and Josh clearly knew how to make the ceremony and reception meaningful, personal, and touching. It was a gift to be a part of the celebrations and they made every person feel loved and included--just what a wedding should be--an extension of the love that the bride and groom share. It was a lovely day (seriously, one of the most relaxed weddings I've been a part of :) ) Enjoy the photos, you two. Thank you, hugs and continued congrats!!
Ryan and Karen were married on June 17th, and I could not have imagined a more fitting location and celebration for these friends of mine than up in Red Feather. The wedding clearly showed their values and unique interests as their love of the outdoors, mountains, and adventure was laced throughout their ceremony and reception. I'm moved by the way these two compliment each other, and I was honored to take pictures of their day. Cheers, you two!
Two of my favorite people are engaged. I got to take some pictures of them at one of the nicest spots on the front range. Here are the results. All my love, you two!
Ryan and Karen got engaged and I am so happy to be photographing their engagement and wedding. Being old friends, I am especially excited by how perfectly these two people compliment one another, and I'm so excited for their future together. Cheers, Ryan and Karen--orrrr the most photogenic people alive. :)
This past summer, I had the priveledge of meeting these two who brought to life the wonder and excitement of a simple walk along a nature trail. Their natural curiosity and charisma for the world around them was fun to photograph, and I was excited to have the opportunity to take some family pictures of Jayden and Kade along with their lovely parents not too long ago.
We actually revisited the 'ole stomping grounds (nature trail) and I was pleasantly reminded of what a difference light can make on the look of an environment. Our surroundings look different, naturally, in October than they did in July. The sun is in a different position, naturally, now than it was four months ago. I appreciate the camera's ability to capture these subtleties of light and environment so as to always provide a new and differently treasured photograph. I pray these family photos provide just that: a meaningful glimpse of a family as they were at that moment in time. I was thrilled when I was asked to photograph Dustin and Jodie, not just because Dustin is my cousin who I practically grew up alongside, but because I had been dying to meet his fiance, Jodie. These two are perfect for one another, and I am so thankful for the woman who is joining our family--a sweet, loving, and considerate woman. We had a great time taking some engagement photos near Horsetooth Reservoir; I was struck by how at home they seemed when they were together. Surely, their bond is very strong, and I am so looking forward to capturing their big day in October! Congratulations to the happy couple!
